Bariatric Surgery ERAS Protocol

 

Outcome Measures: (decrease the following)

​

  1. Length of Stay (prevent nausea-PONV Prophylaxis, Hydration-achieve euvolemia)

  2. Opioid usage (Multimodal Analgesia)

  3. Postoperative complications (Infection Prevention, VTE Prophylaxis) and Reoperation rates due to bleeding, leak, infection (Antibiotic Prophyalaxis)

  4. 30-day Readmission rate (PONV Prophylaxis, Hydration)
